I'm fascinated with the colors of nature. I drew this artichoke some time ago and after drawing it I thought "it's really a flower".

Chilean food and Dutch apple pie

Last year, in October, the weather was still warm and I decided to prepare a Chilean meal and a Dutch apple pie for dessert. I learned to make "Chilean empanadas" (meat pies) and "pastel de choclo" (it's a kind of corn pie) watching my mother make them. The Dutch apple pie (appel taart) I learned to make it watching my mother in-law, who is Dutch. It's funny, but these meals describe very well who I'm: a combination of many nationalities.

Dawn in Paracuellos de Jarama, Madrid

I got a class canceled this morning and I took advantange to make some pictures of the spectacular dawn in Paracuellos de Jarama, Madrid. I felt so privileged! It was about 8.20 in the morning and these were the views right accross the street from where I live. I thought, "God, I've got so much to learn about photography!".
