Orange Bats

I have some guests at home and I have been extremely busy cooking, chatting until late at night and going out. Unfortunately, not too much time to post on this blog. But I did manage to paint these bats. Let's see if I can do a little more in the coming days.

Flamenco Jazz

I went to a Flamenco Jazz concert last Friday. It was on the roof terrace of the Círculo de Bellas Artes.

Bat

Ever since my son painted a very nice bat - he was about 7 then-, I've been fascinated by bats. I got a new portable watercolor box, as you can see, and I thought that it would be a good idea to start painting some spooky images.

The Corsini Prince (Italy-Tuscany VI)

On our last day in Italy we went wine tasting. The chosen place was Villa La Corti of the "Principe Corsini". We finished our visit having a nice lunch at their restaurant. While we're touring the villa, the guide told us that the Corsini family had recently rented their palace to an Indian family for the celebration of a wedding at the convenient price of 7 million euros.

Italian Fashion

I would like to have the sandals above. I just love them because they make me think I could fly. As you can see, the last picture is not Italian fashion, it's French.

Green And Yellow (Italy, Tuscany IV)

The views from the room I was staying in the middle of Tuscany. Vineyards, olive trees, yellow, green everywhere.

Food (Italy- Tuscany III)

As soon as we landed in Italy, we went to a "Gelateria". I never, ever, tasted such a wonderful ice cream in any other country in the world. It's just mouth-watering. See how crowded the "Gelateria" above is ? I figured there were about 20 people asking for ice creams every 5 minutes. It was non-stop. Some people came back for a second one, like I did.

Everything in Italy is about details, and the preparation of meals is one of those important details. Nothing is left to chance.
