Chocolate Easter Eggs

I spent Easter weekend in Barcelona and I saw these huge chocolate Easter eggs. Aren't they wonderful? They certainly smell well.

They Just Came Out

From my garden. I feel blessed.

Poppy

On Sunday I went for a walk right before lunch and I found this beauty. Isn't it wonderful? I love its intense red. Remember my paper poppies?

Cherry Stamp

I have been working on a cherry branch stamp with my new tools. Really enjoyed the process, but I have to keep trying.

Pink Inspiration

Next to my son's school there is a little park where I wait for him to come out. I saw these wonderful blooming cherry trees last week. Now, I can't help but to continue drawing cherry tree flowers.

The Protagonist

Have you ever wondered where the protagonist of this blog has been all this time? Well, she's as always, at home, and doing quite well as you can see. She's just turned 16 this month. In cat's age that's about 90. I wish I could look that good when I turn 90.

Spring Is Here

I'm a day late, but that's no reason not to celebrate the arrival of spring. I'm dazzled by the blooming cherry trees, couldn't help painting one.

Yesterday

These were the views right next to my house yesterday. I love to see how the colors change.

A Rainy Day In Paris

I'm kind of sad because I can't create or see anything as beautiful as those views from Majorca. Everything else seems so dull and ugly. I drew this Parisian scene some time go inspired by a similar photo. Today it's raining in Madrid so why not have a rainy picture.

Santuari de Lluc (Balearic Islands VI)

I'm a bit sad today because the series of photos from Mallorca comes to an end. Every time I see these pictures I recreate the wonderful moments I spent there and those jaw-dropping places we visited. This  was our last stop; the Sanctuary of Lluc, located on top of the mountains (Serra Tramuntana). Surely a mystical and magical place.

Sóller (Balearic Islands V)

Second set of pictures of Sóller. What a delightful town! If you're nervous all you have to do is to look at that incredible sea in front of you and you'll feel great.

Market at Sóller (Balearic Island IV)

I'm still dazzled by the colors I saw at Sóller's market. Absolutely breathless.

Deià (Balearic Islands III)

After Valldemossa our next stop was Deià, a spectacular town in the Serra Tramuntana. It is famous, among other things, because of its cemetery with views to the sea. The famous English poet and novelist, Robert Graves is buried there. More about Deià.
